Table tennis, also referred to as ping pong, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball back and forth across a table using a small, round bat. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net.
Nature photography refers to a wide range of photography taken outdoors and devoted to displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. Nature photography tends to put a stronger emphasis on the aesthetic value of the photo than other photography genres, such as photojournalism and documentary photography.

The World Tourism Organization defines tourists as people «traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes».
A Chief of Police, also known as Police Chief or sometimes shortened to just Chief, is the title typically given to the top official in the chain of command of a police department, particularly in North America. Alternate titles for this position include Police Commissioner, Colonel (according to Rhode Island State Police), Police Superintendent, and Chief Constable.
Arm wrestling involves two participants. One places one arm on a surface with their elbows bent and touching the surface, and they grip each other’s hand. The goal is to pin the other’s arm onto the surface, with the winner’s arm over the loser’s arm.
Contemporary art is art produced at the present period in time. Contemporary art includes, and develops from, Postmodern art, which is itself a successor to Modern art. In vernacular English, «modern» and «contemporary» are synonyms, resulting in some conflation of the terms «modern art» and «contemporary art» by non-specialists.

El martes 28 de abril se celebró pleno ordinario en el que se realizó el sorteo informático de los miembros de la mesa electoral para las elecciones locales y autonómicas del 24 de mayo. También se dio curso a una solicitud de enganche a red general de agua en suelo rústico y a las cuestiones habituales, tales como la aprobación de actas anteriores y resoluciones de alcaldía tomadas desde el último pleno. |

El pasado 24 de mayo se celebraron elecciones locales y autonómicas. En nuestra localidad hubo un censo total de 379 electores. El porcentaje de participación se acerca al 82% (en las anteriores rondaba el 79%). El resultado fue el siguiente:
Para nuestro Ayuntamiento se habían presentado dos candidaturas, publicadas el 22 de abril en el Boletín Oficial de la Provincia (link aquí). Por el P.P.: José Reviriego Moreno, María del Rosario Sánchez del Moral, José Manuel Carabias Flores, Diodoro Diáz Sánchez, Antonio González de Miguel, María del Pilar Hernández López y Raquel González Cornejo. Suplentes: Felipe Reviriego, María del Rosario del Moral y Juan Catobal. Por el P.S.O.E.: Enrique Rodríguez Álvarez, Miryam Martín Gómez, Librado Terradillos Aparicio, Carolina Blázquez Muñoz, María del Mar Sánchez Díaz, María Asunción de Llaguno López y Gabriel Briz Martín. Suplente: Ricardo Hernández Ortega. Según los resultados obtenidos, el reparto de concejalías quedará con 5 para PP y 2 para PSOE. La nueva Corporación tomará posesión de sus cargos el próximo 13 de junio.
